WRITING COMPREHENTION

 

Rearrange/arrange the words/sentences

Yang sangat diperlukan dalam merangkai atau mengurutkan kata - kata menjadi kalimat ataupun kalimat – kalimat menjadi paragraph dan paragraph – paragraph menjadu sebuah teks adalah pengetahuan umum kamu terhadap tenses, pronoun dan tentunya vocabulary serta trick atau langkah - langkah khusus, antara lain:.

  1. Dalam memulai pembahasan, jangan didahului dengan membaca / mengartikan kata / kalimat / text yang akan diurutkan tetapi lihat dan analisis pilihannya terlebih dahulu.

Dalam menganalisis pilihan yang biasanya berbentuk angka – angka, analisislah terlebih dahulu peluang atau angka/kalimat/kata yang paling banyak muncul dengan melihat semua pilihan ganda perkolom bukan perbaris.

  1. Ingatlah selau pada pembentukan kalimat sederhana dalam bahasa inggris. (s+tobe/s+v)
  2. Pronoun / kata ganti akan sering kali muncul untuk menggantikan orang / benda pada kalimat yang berseri/berurutan. Pada soal merangkai kalimat – kalimat menjadi paragraph kalimat pertama pasti menggunakan Subjek asli(nama orang/nama tempat) / pronoun tidak akan muncul pada kalimat pertama.

  1. Ada pertanyaan arrangement (merangkai) yang jawabannya adalah urutan peristiwa (teks recount), urutan langkah – langkah (teks prosedur) serta teks deskriptif yang inti / ide pokoknya pasti ada di kalimat pertama.

Merangkainya berdasarkan urutan peristiwa / kejadian. Biasanyan diurutkan dengan ungkapan/kata sambung: “first” (pertama-tama), diikuti dengan “then/after that” (kemudian/setelah itu),  serta diakhiri oleh “finally/at last” (pada akhirnya). Diawali oleh “orientation” yang berisi tentang pengenalan waktu, tempat , pelaku dan hal kejadian.
